We all know that the next-generation Tundra is on the way and while we are waiting for the new generation, the 2021 model is expected to be the last production version of the current generation. Therefore, no one expects to see any particular change, especially if we consider that the current generation has been around for full 13 years. The same thing refers to 2021 Tundra colors.
The list of 2021 Tundra colors in the offer will probably remain the same, but that doesn’t mean we could see some tweaks in terms of availability. In the current model, most colors are reserved for certain trim levels, while just a couple of finishes is available in the whole range of models. At this point, we can only speculate.
2021 Tundra Colors – Exterior
As we’ve just mentioned, some tweaks in terms of 2021 Toyota Tundra colors are possible. Still, we don’t expect to see any brand-new finish in the offer, like it was the case with the previous year, when we see the new Army Green finish. Still, that Army Green was new for a complete TRD Pro lineup, and we don’t expect the same thing will happen in the next year as well.
In any case, the list of color options will remain the same. There are 11 options in total. Those are Army Green, Barcelona Red Metallic, Cavalry Blue, Cement, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Quicksand, Silver Sky Metallic, Smoked Mesquite, Super White and Voodoo Blue.
The Army Greem, as we already mentioned, is reserved for the TRD Pro trim. This off-roader is also available Magnetic Gray Metallic, Super White and Midnight Black Metallic. Actually, Super White and Midnight Black are the only two colors available across the whole range. When it comes to the rest of the colors, Cavalry Blue, Cement and Quicksand are available on SR5. The same finishes can be found on the Limited trim, as well as Voodoo Blue. This color is also available on SR5, Limited, Platinum and 1974 Edition models. Barcelona Red Metallic and Silver Sky Metallic are also pretty frequent, as the can be found on all models but TRD Pro trim.
For the next year, most of the things will remain the same. Eventually, we count see some tweaks where certain colors could become in some other trim levels as well. Other than that, no changes are expected.
2021 Tundra Colors – Interior
When it comes to the interior, the current model is available in several variants. Most likely, the 2021 Tundra colors list will remain pretty much the same. The availability of certain color schemes depends on the trim level you choose, as well as on the exterior color you pick. Also, it largely depends on upholstery materials. Cheaper models are equipped with either cloth or vinyl seats. In these cases, you can only get Sand Beige, Black and Graphite schemes. Things are a little bit different in more expensive models. The TRD Pro comes in a completely Black interior. If you pick models with leather upholstery, you may count on three aforementioned schemes, while models with brown leather are also available.
What to Expect From Next Generation?
The next generation of the full-size pickup truck is expected to come with loads of novelties. Of course, the first things that come to mind are new hybrid powertrain, new platform, design etc. Of course, we would expect to see a new palette of colors in the offer as well. Naturally, it is still early for details, but we presume that the new model will have a lot of new finishes to offer, as well as new interior color schemes. More details will be known in the future.
