While everyone is talking about the new TRD Pro and its mechanical upgrades, new color options and similar things, the new 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited isn’t less interesting at all. The upcoming model comes with notable updates and some of them will be pretty exclusive to this version. The Limited is focused on comfort and luxury, rather than on off-road performances. It is the second most expensive version of this truck, characterized by loads of standard equipment. When it comes to the 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited exterior features, there aren’t many novelties we should mention. Although it receives a mid-cycle update, there aren’t too many visual novelties. Practically, a new grille the only notable aesthetical change. Still, there is a fine amount of exclusive features, such as 18-inch alloy wheels, LED Daytime Running Lights, LED headlights etc. Also, this version comes with lots of chrome accents in order to accentuate its luxury character. Once again, there are no big visual changes, but this update is bringing a lot of new features and pretty much all of them will be part of the standard equipment in the 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited. Of course, this includes a new 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, as well as a new 8-inch touchscreen, which comes with Toyota’s latest infotainment system.
Smartphone goodies are included as well. This model comes standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. Furthermore, the 2020 Tacoma Limited comes standard with new Panoramic View Monitor. This is a camera-based system, which provides a 360-degree view of the truck. When it comes to interior color schemes, the current model is available with Black or Hickory combinations, though we could see some novelties for the next year.
Engine
The 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited will continue with a familiar engine under the hood. Of course, we are talking about a 3.5-liter V6, which is good for about 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The engine may be the same, but the 6-speed automatic transmission has been revised. It now works much better, with quicker shifts and a smoother ride. The engine is pretty capable and ensures smooth acceleration. On the other side, it definitely isn’t the most efficient unit in the class. It returns around 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Most rivals are feature better mpg ratings.

Another thing we should mention is that the new 2020 Toyota Tacoma Limited will be more expensive. While the current version goes around 37.700 dollars, the new one will probably go around 39.000.
